Scott Crockett
Board Chair and President
Scott is a retired waterman, Army veteran, banker, entrepreneur, and management consultant. He and his wife of fifty-two years, Shirley have two grown sons, and have lived in Jarrettsville since 1979. Scott, a native of the Eastern Shore, served in the Army’s Far East Special Operations Command following high school, then attended U of MD and the Stonier School, Rutgers. During his business career, Scott was a commercial banker, P.W. Cooper's management consulting director, and CEO of a troubled company consultancy. The Crockett family has lived in Baltimore, Atlanta (twice), Wilmington, DE, and Jarrettsville. Since joining FUMC in 1988 Scott has served as chair of the Finance Committee, Council on Ministries, and Church Council and numerous projects including the Friendship Hall construction committee, Friendship Players Dinner Theater, etc.

Felix "Phil" Giuffrida

Phil is a 72-year-old retiree from Bethlehem Steel, where he worked for 40 years. His expertise was in operations management and engineering. Phil graduated from the University of Massachusetts (BSME) and Canisius College (MBA). He has served on numerous FUMC committees including chairperson of church council, trustees, finance and executive committee.

An honors graduate of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a BA in Business, Kim completed her MBA at Loyola College with honors and a concentration in Business Management. She is a learner and achiever pursuing ongoing professional, leadership development, and industry-specific training. Kim and her husband of 40+ years live in Fallston. Bachmann’s professional foundation came from 17 years selling, coaching and leading sales teams for AT&T, solving a variety of communications, computing, and technology needs for commercial, national and global companies. Understanding business issues and getting the details right allowed Bachmann to establish a corporate reputation for exceptional quality as she later developed and led the execution of sales and marketing strategies at RealLife HR. She crafted the template for institutional relationship management, opened alternate marketing channels, and re-branded the company. Her work in various VP/SVP roles solidly positioned the company for its acquisition by Hewitt Associates. Kim next operated a business consultancy for nearly ten years helping businesses achieve their strategic business goals by connecting a tactical set of practices that incorporated marketing, sales support, and business operations. Her sales enablement strategies provided clients with a replicable framework and important sales discipline that allowed their businesses to thrive. Today Kim impacts lives by helping people change their approach to wellness and healthcare. Her individualized consultations help identify ways to safely strengthen one’s foundation of health by incorporating natural products into their life. A Certified Emotions Mentor and Wellness Advocate, she brings a wide array of experience, testimonials, and resources to her doWellness 4 You! consultations. She offers the purest, highest quality, sustainably sourced essential oils and products by dōTERRA. The world’s leading essential oil company, dōTERRA is at the forefront of essential oil clinical research and delivering integrative care. Bachmann assists several non-profits with business processes, communications, and fundraising. Supporting the community is an important facet of Kim’s life. Beginning as a young adult she served her church in teaching, organizing, and numerous leadership roles and committees both at the Church and District level. She extended her volunteerism to include supporting the interests of her four sons with roles ranging from 4-H leader, 4-H Camp Board President, Farm Fair Asst. Superintendent, Fallston Rec Wrestling Administrator, Fallston Cougar Booster Treasurer, Fallston High Post Prom Committee, to PTL fundraising for Baltimore Lutheran School. Since 2016, she has been intimately involved with the Nolan Robison Foundation, dedicated to raising funds to support mental health services for youth with specific diagnoses. Kim is a founding board member of Mission Central Community Services. She was a long-time member of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council (GBTC) and the Marketing Executive Roundtable. Kim is currently a member of Bel Air Business Builders, a local networking group, where she has served as Secretary for

Senior Pastor, Mission Central Parish
Pastor Karin is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church and serves as the Senior Pastor of Fallston UMC and the Mission Central Parish. She brings a lively energy from a deep well of spirituality that invites others to know Jesus. Her focus in ministry is helping people know Jesus or deepen their relationship with Him. Karin's style is a coach approach to ministry that is manifest in who she is. She leads our staff to engage others in ministry and to help people on the discipleship journey. She encourages and challenges, and joins others in the work! Karin loves to go to Puerto Rico with our mission teams, and is a runner, swimmer, and biker. She is the cross country and track coach at the high school and serves on various boards and agencies within the denomination. Karin is married to Mike, who coaches baseball, and they have two children.

Rev. Gatitu was born and raised in Central Kenya in Eastern part of Africa. Stephen came to faith in Jesus as His Lord and Savior through the preaching from John 3:16. He is married to Grace and blessed with Three young beautiful girls and soon they are looking forward to the birth of their son. Gatitu is a graduate of Pwani Bible Institute - Diploma in Bible and Pastoral ministries and currently a BTh Student at World Missions College, Fairfax Virginia. After graduating from Bible College, Stephen was ordained and he has been in the ministry as a youth Pastor, High School Board member, Missions Coordinator, Student Chaplain in a High School and as the Lead Pastor of a vibrant growing church before moving to the USA for further training and equipping for the ministry of loving God and serving him with and through his people.

Catherine "Catie" Gianelloni

Catie is a 34-year-old Merchant Mariner and USCG Instructor in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 2009. She has spent the last 11 years sailing and instructing mariners in Baltimore. She holds an MBA from the Quantic school of Business. Catie and her husband Todd will be celebrating their 5-year anniversary this June. Catie is a 2nd Mate who works in several capacities for the International Organization Of Masters, Mates and Pilots. She also serves on the operations committee for the Shipping Operations Cooperative Program, which focuses on industry safety standards for US sailors. Catie and Todd drive for the Sharing Table.

Laurie and her husband Greg have been living in Fallston for over 20 years. They have two grown daughters and a 14-year-old son. Laurie grew up in Kingsville, the youngest of five. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College of Maryland (Economics with a business concentration). She worked for 13 years at Black and Decker as a financial analyst. Dedicating herself to raising her young children, she opened a daycare in her home. Laurie later worked part-time as the bookkeeper and office manager at The Fallston Swim Club for 10 years. Laurie is currently a volunteer at the hospital, a Stephen’s minister at FUMC, and the treasurer for the Friendship Players at FUMC.

Annabel Lusardi

Annabel grew up in England and moved to the US in 1989 after marrying her husband Tom, a New Jersey native. Annabel and Tom met at Southampton University in England, while Annabel was studying for a BS in Geography. They moved to Maryland in 1998 and have lived in Fallston and attended Fallston UMC since then. They have three grown children, two daughters who are a nurse and a (soon-to-be) lawyer, and a son who is studying to become a commercial pilot. After college Annabel worked in environmental consulting, specializing in remedial site cleanup for manufacturing facilities. After having three babies in four years she took time to raise them, before transitioning into non-profit work. At various times she has worked as Director of Education and Coordinator of Discipleship Ministries at Fallston UMC, as well as the manager of a school fundraising program throughout Maryland for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In 2015 Annabel became a certified coach through the International Coaching Foundation, which led her to coaching work with the education programs of the Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation. She is now a full-time staff member of the MAUMF, which does investment management and stewardship education for United Methodist and affiliate churches in the mid-Atlantic region. At Fallston UMC Annabel has served as chair of Church Council, chair of the Worship Planning Team, as a member of the praise band, as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader and Appalachia Service Project board member and team leader.

Dave is a 59-year-old who works as a Credit Manager for Builders First Source in Northeast MD. He has been married for 36 years to the love of his life Stacey. They have two daughters and were blessed with their first grandchild Evelyn (Evie) in September of 2020. They have lived in Forest Hill MD for 23 years. He has attended Presbury UMC in Edgewood since he was 10 years old. He has served as Administrative Council Chairman and SPRC Chair for many years. He loves ASP trips and has been on many adult trips and chaperoned several youth trips. Dave graduated from High School in 1980 and then went on to get a Business degree at Towson State University. Dave is a sports enthusiast and loves doing work at the Church whether it be mission work, fund raisers or just doing jobs needed at the Church. Dave and Stacey love to go hiking spending time with their family.

Betty just recently celebrated her 71st birthday. She is a retired United Methodist minister having served 22 years in 5 different small churches, two of which were 2-point charges. Prior to being called into pastoral ministry she worked as an Educational Interpreter for the Deaf at Brookdale Community College. In her earlier years after high school, she worked as a Secretary for the Travelers Insurance Company in Philadelphia until she was married in 1975. She and Glenn will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary in December. She lived in New Jersey most of her life before moving with her husband to Maryland in 2014 to be near her family. She has one daughter and two beautiful grand-daughters and is proud to be called Grandma. She graduated from Brookdale Community College, Monmouth University and received her Master of Divinity from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. She was ordained a Full Elder in the Greater NJ Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. She is presently the Missions Chairperson at FUMC; a member of the choir, FUMC Daycare Board, United Methodist Women, Adult Fellowship, occasional substitute preacher, and was requested to be one of the Parish Speakers as a part of the Missions Central Parish as of July 1, 2020.

Lisa M. Tittle, Ed. D.

Lisa is a Harford County native and currently lives in Forest Hill, MD. Her career as an English teacher started at Harford County Public Schools, but she has taught at Harford Community College for the past 20 years. In the community, Lisa has volunteered for the PTA, Harford County Commission for Women, Harford Family House, Manna House, and numerous committees at Fallston United Methodist Church. When she is not teaching or volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family and pets, especially when the family is vacationing at the beach. Lisa has several favorite desserts, but the top two are peach cobbler and brownies without nuts. Her favorite movie is Grease, and as a lifetime Marylander, she is always looking for the perfect crab cake.
